Cul- de- Sac Kids

In an effort to encourage positive behavior in my children, I came up with a "positive" reward system. I've discovered, not only has it had a lasting impact on my children, it's made parenting so much easier for me. Friends and family are now following suit and having their own success stories. Here's a space for anyone out there looking for a way to raise responsible children without feeling exhausted from repeating the same verbiage over and over...

I grew up with my mom "nagging" us to do everything from brush your teeth, do your homework, pick up your room, put your dishes in the sink... 

Sound familiar? 

I knew I didn't want to be that parent. It is exhasting and I can recall, as a kid, it wasn't fun on that end either. This is a parenting lifestyle and may take a few months to figure out how to tailor it to your own family. Some parents I know took off running with it and have had immediate success, others took a little longer before it became habit.

Results depend on the age of your child, your child's personailty, and patterns/habits that may have already formed over the years.
